"Find a job you enjoy and you'll never work a day in your life."
I've been lucky to repeatedly find jobs that I enjoy, and although it makes me feel like I've worked very little throughout my life, I've gained a lot of experience along the way.

Starting in catering at a young age, I was managing coffee shops and restaurants until the ripe old age of 22 in Ireland and the UK. I decided to return to education and trained first as a TV studio camera operator and radio producer before moving on to ENG/Solo camera filming. The company I worked with from then until summer 2023 (Kairos Communications) gave me the opportunity to use all of those skills, especially during live TV and radio broadcasts for Ireland's national TV Station, RTÉ. As it was a small company, I became adept at many production roles, including directing, producing, live-streaming researching, and video/audio editing.

My work across the last decade and a half has taken me around Europe and Ireland; from filming Grammy winning musicians in my home town of Sligo to filming ancient catacombs in Rome. I really enjoy what I do and figuring out new ways in which to do it. Having started in the era of having to ingest SD tape (in real time!) before editing, being able to shoot and edit high quality HD videos on my phone is something I love.
